Festive scented candles for the holiday season

Festive scented candles for the holiday season

Love filling our home with flickering candles all year round especially when it is closer to the holiday season.
Some candles come in a beautifully wrapped package and glass jars that can add some elegance to any shelves or coffee tables. While wrapping the presents, I love listening old classic Christmas songs and light up some candles to ramp up the festive ambience even more in our home. We can all agree that Christmas actually even Winter's signature scent is the freshly cut pine. Even just writing about this aroma reminding me of my childhood when my dad took me to the nearest Christmas tree farm to pick up the tree.
Even though I love the smell of it, I feel sad about the trees getting throw away after the holiday seasons, so I knew that when I grow up, I will be getting an artificial Christmas tree.
This is exactly how it happened. I bought one of the most significant trees from Wayfair last year.

It's a lifelike artificial Christmas with realistic needles. Click here to see how I dressed it last year.
You might be thinking that this way you will lose one of the most signature scents of Christmas. This is exactly why I use scented sticks. Click here to check out the brand I use.
This way you won't lose out on anything, and you help to save those beautiful firs.
Another great reason why I love candles so much is because these warm and wintery fragrances will make the perfect gift for anybody for Christmas because who doesn't like to fill their home up with beautifully scented candles, right?

To get really into the festive mood, I prefer the sweet aromas over the harsh wooden blends.
This is why I believe that when it comes to Christmas candles, there's one brand that cannot be missed out is Yankee.
They have honestly the sweetest candles that I have bought so far not to mention how beautifully they are presented in these lovely glass jars. So many different ways to conjure up the festive smells in every home during the holidays, especially with notes of cinnamon, mistletoe, a mix of forest fruits and of course pine. Yankee's signature large jar candles can burn up to 110-150 hrs which is approximately a week.
The scent of Yankee's is delightful but not as overpowering as a car freshener.
My favourite jars are Frosty Gingerbread, Red Apple Wreath and Christmas Cookie.

To invoke the festive season in our home, I like to mix different branded candles. Candles H&M home will get anybody into the festive mood. I love how lovely their candles look in those glass and ceramic jars. I always have a piece of their candle on the shelves in our house.
They look so elegant anywhere I place them.
Definitely recommend getting one in your home if you after a stylish upgrade.
They have mini candles in a charming glass tin that reminds me of a Kilner jar.
Don't get tricked by the size these mini candles are super powerful when you lighten them up.
I buy a piece every time they release a new version of them.
An absolute all-time favourite is Cotton.

When it comes to fragrances, it is all down to personal preferences, including the festive notes. Like I said previously I like sweet scents around our home but if you prefer the blend of balsam, basil, fir, cedar H&m also has a great selection of those.
I probably will be buying a few of these for the guestroom once it is completed.

Cinnamon and orange blend, Clove and vanilla are all just as festive as the freshly cut pine.
I love the smell of vanilla; it always helps me to relax. One of my favourite mix of coconut and vanilla is from the White company. The name of the candle is: Seychelles Signature Candle
It smells incredible and goes perfectly well with any home decor or Christmas theme around the holidays.
I definitely recommend to get your hands on one these for yourself and give another as a charming gift to your loved ones.

Fill with warming Christmas scented candles to the ambience the festivities at the most magical time of the year in your home.
Soak up in the delicious scents while they are brightening up your table this season.
Don't forget, never leave a candle unattended.
