The ultimate Festive playlist

The ultimate Festive playlist

Christmas songs play a big part in the festive period no matter if you love or hate them.
Some of them actually fantastic and enjoyable while others are quite awful but still iconic. Can you imagine Christmas without music? No carol singing, hymns in the church, no songs at the Christmas parties and no festive melodies in the background to help with the Christmas chores.
I can't, and if I'm honest, I don't even want to.

I personally love listening to Christmas songs anytime during the holiday season. It creates the perfect atmosphere, and the right songs can keep you smiling all along the way up until Christmas day when unwrapping the gifts underneath the tree can do the rest.
If you arent as jolly about them I'm sorry to say, but it's impossible to escape from them.
Christmas songs are playing anywhere you go during this time of the year while you are out shopping in the stores or driving in the car.
I'm not too sure about where you live, but we even have a Christmas radio, how amazing is that right?
Festive tunes can get you into a jolly mood while wrapping the Christmas presents, putting up the tree or just quietly sitting on the sofa and sipping hot coco on Christmas Eve.

It wouldn't be Christmas without the old classics Jingle Bells or All I Want For Christmas Is You from Mariah Carey. I wanted to create my own playlist with a mixture of old classics and today's songs, but you can also find a wide variety of different tracks or
ready-made albums on Spotify if you wish.

It has been one of my long-time wishes to own my very own modern vinyl Record Player.
I have been waiting for the dining room to be finished so we can buy one that will not only play a huge part of during the festive period but also will make beautiful decor for the rest of the year.
I haven't managed to find the table that I have in my mind for it, but I won't give up.

It's time to rump up the festivities with some old-time favourites and add some new modern songs to the list.
