I love spending a rainy day inside and let my creativity to fly so what's better than
getting into the Christmas spirit more than spending an afternoon wreath-decorating while listening to Christmas music and sipping some mulled wine.
Let's deck the halls together with a beautifully decorated Christmas wreath.
I didn't want to create the whole wreath from scratch, so I purchased online an artificial PE (Polyethylene) one from Wayfair. As I like the smell of the fresh cut fir, I stuck some Winter Fir Scent Sticks between the branches. This year I decided to hang the wreath inside above the fireplace in the kitchen instead of the usual spot which is the front door.
As I'm going with a Nordic style for the Christmas tree this year, I matched the wreath to the rest of the decor.
Rustic and natural.
What you will need:
PE or PVC artificial wreath, if you want to reach a realistic look pick the PE
Scissors/Stanley knife
Hot glue gun
Natural picks: like holly berries, pinecones or any other natural finds.
warm Christmas light (battery operated)
You can also add crafted wooden decorations, dried oranges or gingerbread cookies
To build your wreath follow these easy steps below:
1) Wrap the lighting around the wreath
2) Stick the stems into the wreath and cut off the extra wiring or wrap it around the wreath.
3) Now it’s time to get creative and accessorise your wreath with the decorations you picked.
4) Voila, hang your wreath on your door or wherever you would like.
Now's the time to sit back and relax.
