I still remember the first time I tried green tea. That was the time when I decided to change my lifestyle.

One night I was browsing the internet to find fat burning supplements, no, no I do not talk about magic things just natural ingredients.
After, I found the green tea on the list. The next day I bought a box of green tea and well, it was not the taste I expected.
My thought was: People definitely do not drink this for the taste!-they just been told it is right for them. I was disgusted!
But I heard all the benefits of this tea, so I was desperate to like it.
One day, while we were having brunch at Slug and Lettuce, I have ordered green tea with my eggs benedicts.
Wow, the taste of their pure herbal tea was love at first taste. From that day I was addicted to green tea.(not any green tea)

P.S : Thank you Slug and Lettuce for introducing me to teapigs. Since that day I feel I am on a mission to show everyone how green tea works it's magic. I would like to share what I have experienced so far by taking it green.

Firstly, it all depends on the brand! For me, Mao Feng Green tea from teapigs worked out so far the best.  Also, I do not drink it with anything else, no sugar, no lemon- just the pure green tea. The first I have experienced is that Green Tea Increases Fat Burning.Yes!
This is because green tea has been shown to boost metabolism. After a couple of weeks, I had the feeling that Green tea has increased my energy levels. The reason behind this is the caffeine. Then it has improved my physical performance in the gym. Science studies have shown that by mobilising fatty acids from the fat tissues and making them available for use as energy the reason behind the better physical performance. But there is more!

My addiction to Green tea has driven me to dig deeper.
Green tea has been used as a medicine for thousands of years in China as it helps :
Cancer: Also helps to reduce the risk of cancer while killing cancer cells.
Diabetes: Works to reduce glucose levels which prevent high insulin spikes.
Parkinson`s: Restoring damaged brain cells.
Tooth Decay: the antioxidant in the tea destroys bacteria, viruses that cause throat infections.
Skincare: Smooth wrinkles, helps reduce sun damage.
Depression, Heart Disease, Blood pressure, Headaches and many many more…

I don't believe that anyone needs more reasons to stick with this tea.
Oh Yeah!
It only contains two calories per cup(200ml)!
Of course, if you pop some milk, lemon, or sugar then will add more than two cals.
My advice on the daily intake is 4-5 cups minimum. When I fancy more than I just go for it but I do not drink more than 10 cups.
If I am in a hurry or if I want to keep myself out of the bathroom I just take some Green tea Extract on the go.
My favourite is Mega Green Tea Extract by Myprotein.
